Drunk Driving Persuasive Speeches

I have to do a persuasive speech on drunk driving, but i can't think of a really good opening sentance. Help?
usually i am very good at coming up with a catchy beginning to most of my speeches/essays, but i just can't seem to get that jump start off of anything i write down. please only serious answers, don't waste your time if you aren't willing to help
say "Its 9:15 pm on a friday night, you have been working hard all week. So you think you are going to go out with of friends to a local bar and treat yourself to a couple cold beers and a few laughs (sarcastically, "just a few", and your eyes bug out) Then everybody a few more than just a few, including your designated driver. Its now 1:45pm. You volunteer to drive, plus it only about 5 miles away. You thank you can do it. Your buds live in the same apartment building you do so this should be easy. So you all pile in the car and head home. You are tired and thirsty so you have one of your friends beers, your friend is asleep in the back seat. Then all of the sudden blue lights and a noise, you know what this means".
I know its more than a opening paragraph but then you can slip in some facts. I hope this will work!
