Legally, is there any difference in the terms?
I would guess, due to the advent of such widespread drug use that "intoxicated" may not include drug use in the minds of some, although it is all-inclusive.
Which term is used where you live?
legally, it depends on the state.... The terms may be interchangeable... what's important for people to remember is that you can STILL get a DWI, DUI or whatever even if you don't blow a .08....
.08 is just the legal limit... if it isn't .08 doesn't mean someone isn't intoxicated....
