Is a DUI in Alabama considered a first degree misdemeanor or second degree misdemeanor?

I was convicted of DUI (first offense, no one hurt, no property damage) in October 1999 in Alabama. I understand it is a misdemeanor... however, I am trying to determine if it is considered a FIRST DEGREE or SECOND DEGREE misdemeanor.
