California Dui 3rd Offense

california dui 3rd offense

What is the penalty (sentences) for the following:?

Warrant Degree: Felony
Charge 1: PC RECEIVE STOLEN PROPERTY
Charge 2: PC BURGLARY-SECOND DEGREE
Charge 3: PC ACT CONSTITUTING FORGERY
Charge 4: PC PETTY THEFT
Bail Amount: $20,000.00

This is an ex boyfriend and he has a warrant out for his arrest.
1. Should I report him to the sheriff or to the probation office if I see that he has an arrest warrant for the above charges? I have a restraining order against him. I would like to see him do a long jail time for once.
2. How much time in jail will he receive in California for the above offenses? He has had prior offenses for petty theft, assault, lewd conduct, dui, etc. He always seems to get away with it. I want some severe jail time for this man. Nothing ever happens to him. He has warrants out for his arrest and I want to see justice for once on this man. Any help is appreciated. I found this info on the sheriff's page in orange county, CA and he should be put in jail.

Bail-jumping is an offense in itself. With his past convictions, he'll probably get 3-5 for everything together. Or more if he's broken his probation. If you know his whereabouts, you can call your local police department or the county sheriff.

Motoring News: Should Cars Have Built In Breathalysers?

We’ve all heard of cars having built-in phone, ipod and even iphone chargers, but the latest accessory which could accompany these modern features is the built-in breathalyser. It was only a matter of time before this concept was invented, with AlcoDigital.com reporting that “the UK currently has one of the highest alcohol limits in Europe”.

AlcoDigital.com continues, saying that some countries have a “zero tolerance to alcohol – rest assured if you’re stopped in Estonia, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic or Hungary having had a sherry trifle, you should be wary”. This may seem slightly extreme, especially around Christmas time when pudding is one of the things we most look forward to; however it certainly cuts down the number of drunk driver accidents.

Imagine that voice of reason we all have, being able to prevent us from doing something dangerous. The introduction of a built-in breathalyser will physically stop you from being able to start the car engine if it finds you are over the legal limit. Many people are tempted to drive that 5 minute journey home following a few drinks after work or at the weekend, especially in this cold weather - but the risks and repercussions just aren’t worth it.

An article on Autos.aol.com has revealed that “each year, 13,000 people are killed by drunk drivers”, which may just have been the wakeup call needed to provoke the creation of this monitored punishment, hopefully preventing drunk drivers getting behind the wheel. Not surprisingly, some states in America, including “New Mexico, Colorado, Illinois and Washington” have already implemented this technology into vehicles for drunk driving offenders, and are monitoring about 140,000 convicted drunk drivers nationwide. We may not follow America when it comes to super-sizing, but when it comes to drunk driving, the built-in breathalyser may be one trend we want o follow.

Reducing the shocking number of drink drivers is something that undoubtedly needs to be assessed, and with the bad weather sweeping across the UK, encouraging people to bring out their 4x4s, which possess incredible power and speed, these fierce machines, could end up in the wrong hands and cause disastrous accidents. Having an interlocking devise making the decision for you will hopefully prevent people from being killed or suffering injury caused by alcohol fueled accidents. Nissan are just one of the car manufacturers who have started to implement this innovative idea, and are working to “cut traffic fatalities and serious injuries by half in 2015”, reports MotorTrend.com.

Changing Bad Habits Can Save You A Fortune On Life Insurance

When it comes to buying life insurance, it pays to be good, lean and healthy. Bad habits such as poor eating choices, an inactive lifestyle, smoking, flouting traffic rules, or a history of criminal offences can seriously inflate your life insurance rates. In contrast, turning over a new leaf can save you a fortune on life insurance. You can do this by adopting certain lifestyle changes for better health, by demonstrating that your DUIs are a thing of the past, and by proving that you've kicked the habit of smoking for at least a year, .

The underwriting process in life insurance will classify you in a particular rate class. A rate class is the price you have to pay for life insurance coverage, commonly known as premiums. Life insurance companies scrutinize your application, and look closely into the outcome of your physical exam, as well as into other supporting documents such as criminal offences, medical history, driving history, etc. Then taking your age and sex into consideration it brackets you into a certain rate class. Different life insurance companies have different names for their rate classes. However, the commonly used terms are Preferred Plus (the best rate only awarded to someone in excellent health, with no bad habits), Preferred, Standard and Substandard (for someone who has serious health conditions). Life insurance rates are cheapest for the Preferred Plus rate class, and increase for each lower rate class. That's why qualifying for a better rate class can save you a lot of money.

Tips for qualifying for a better rate class
If you think you are too entrenched in a bad habit, and there is no hope, do not despair. Even minor changes can improve your rate class and give you a go at cheaper premiums. The following tips will tell you more.

  • Lose the pounds. Even if you don't have health problems but are overweight, you won't qualify for the best rate class because weight gain is associated with medical conditions such as higher cholesterol levels and heart ailments. You should know that life insurance companies use a weight table to determine the height to weight ratio. If you are even a few kilos overweight it may affect your chances of qualifying for the best rate class. If you are an overweight woman, apply to a life insurance agency that uses a unisex weight table so that you can take advantage of men's higher weight averages to qualify for a better rate class. Talk to your doctor for help in reaching your ideal weight. Also, if you have lost weight since you purchased a life insurance policy, ask for a review so that you can qualify for a lower rate class.
  • Health conditions. Sometimes, when a condition such as diabetes or blood pressure is within check, you do have a chance of qualifying for a better rate. Check with your doctor and include supporting documents to prove that you have kept it in check for long enough.
  • Tips for smokers. Whether you have just one cigarette a day, or you are a chain smoker, you will qualify for a separate rate class and will be offered a ‘smoker's ‘ policy. Tobacco usage is associated with serious health problems such as lung and heart disease, and that's why if you have these health conditions in addition to being a smoker, you will have to pay sizeable premiums. The good news for tobacco users is that life insurance companies do reward you if you have quit smoking. Depending on the life insurance company you approach, if you can prove that you have been smoke-free from between 1 to 5 years, they will re-evaluate your policy application and offer you lower premiums.
  • Are you in a dangerous profession or risky hobby such as scuba diving or bungee jumping? Then you are likely to qualify for a higher premium. However, if you can show that you are certified and have taken safety classes, you might be able to get a better rate.
  • Practice responsible driving: As underwriters see it, if you are flouting road rules, you are also most likely to be involved/ be the cause of serious road accidents. If you had a traffic violation or a DUI conviction in the recent past, you won't qualify for the best life insurance rates.
  • Are you credit worthy? If you have filed for bankruptcy in the recent past, it could adversely affect your chances of qualifying for lower premiums.

Why you should buy from a multi carrier life insurance provider
As mentioned earlier in this article, different life insurance companies have different standards on which their underwriting process is based. If you buy life insurance from a local agent, or directly from a life-insurance carrier, you won't really get a chance to know if the life insurance quotes offered to you are from the carriers who could be partial to your particular requirements. On the other hand multi-carrier agency websites deal with hundreds of life insurance companies, and their automated quote-matching service will be able to pick up policies from life insurance carriers that look more favorably on your application than others. Best of all, their quotes reflect the best rates (for your particular requirement) and can be quite accurate.

Many people lie on their life insurance applications. Remember, that if your lie is found out, you may never ever qualify for life insurance. The better way out is to change one's bad habits, and then apply for life insurance. Lifestyle and health changes can really save you a fortune on your life insurance premiums.

Your family should not suffer because you have been careless with your health and lifestyle choices. Always focus on the real reason why you want life insurance. They will thank you for it.

7:15 to 8:30 - Travel Time and Drive-thru Breakfast
8:30 Onwards - Panics, Frustrations, Cancellations, and Unexpected Insertions, and Procrastinations

That looks familiar, right? That is definitely not a classic example of effective time management. The alarm rings, you ask for 15 more minutes, then another 15 more minutes and you wake up and ask yourself what time it is. You cancel so many miscellaneous activities that are nonetheless essential. In obtaining effective time management abilities, the first thing that is to be kept in mind is avoiding any unnecessary delays. In fact, as much as possible, make it a point that no delay happens.

Waking up early in the morning is the most common problem people face when it comes to following a schedule. People have several reasons for this. The most common ones are having a bad night's sleep, insomnia, too many nighttime activities, or just simply the enjoyment of sleep. It really feels so good to delay waking up in the morning when that stupid alarm clock begins nagging on your ear.

As for the problem in alarm clocks, the solution is simple, get rid of the annoying alarm clock, and get a new one with a nicer tune. To get rid of insomnia, consult your doctor. For the bad night's sleep and nighttime activities, just get up and open your eyes. Having a very long sleep is not really much of a solution for the lack of a nighttime sleep; it is better to slowly recover from that by sleeping earlier on the succeeding nights.

Making a linear schedule with an interval of 30 minutes or so is not really an effective time management technique; those numbers are just causes of frustration so get rid of those. It is better to just simply set the time only for waking up, and then arrange your activities without setting an exact time for them. Just keep in mind that you are going to finish those things as fast as you can. Delays and unexpected changes always happen and removing those numbers in your schedule decreases the frustrations that they cause and it also makes your schedule appear more flexible.

No one in this world has all the time in the universe; everybody just has 24 hours a day to spend and in those 24 hours, the time to accumulate energy is the most important, so be sure to give enough time for sleeping and eating or else you are just going to spend the rest of your day with your mind wandering aimlessly and finishing nothing important in the end.
